If you sponsor folk dance special events, are responsible for a group which holds weekly, biweekly, monthly or irregularly scheduled folk dances in the United States or Canada, are a folk dance teacher or sell folk dance products, we welcome your listing in Folk Dance Directory.

Remember, folk dance includes Balkan folk dance, Cajun dance, clog dance, contra dance, English country dance, international folk dance, Israeli dance, Morris and ritual dance, Scottish country dance, Southern Mountain big circle dance, square dance, swing dance, tap dance, vintage dance, western square dance and all other forms of traditional and ethnic dance.

Listing a Camp or Week     Top Of Page

We invite you to submit folk dance camp and week listings for publication on our Folk Dance Camps and Weeks page.

We publish camp and week listings only if they meet all six of the following conditions: 1) The event must have at least one class, party, workshop, competition, demonstration, performance or other activity involving folk dance (as we defined folk dance on our Home page). 2) The event must take place sometime this year or during any of the next four years. 3) The event must last at least two days. 4) Someone directly connected with running the event must submit the listing. 5) Listings must be submitted on our Listing a Camp or Week form. 6) We must receive the applicable listing fee. (Events starting before January 1, 2003 are listed free of charge; those starting from this date on are priced according to the chart on our Listing a Camp or Week page.)
